Head`s shots (3.00 / 7)
It`s just starting to ease up on the rain here.
I hope everything eases up actually.
It seems like the fan is getting splattered more & more.

Uh... (3.00 / 2)
NO!!
Chirpybib,
He was over for the afternoon.
I`m trying to decide what kind of rescued dog I can get him for his birthday.
An Aussie shepherd comes to mind.

Ooooooo...serendipity (3.00 / 2)
If you're seriously looking, just so happens we have an Aussie Shepherd that was abandoned by a couple that moved out of our neighborhood. They owed us money when they left, so we got the dog. They paid $600 for him. We were hoping to re-coup some of the money they owed us, but would be fine with a good home for him. He was used for breeding originally, still intact, but housebroken and a real dear. Loves kids. About 2-3 years old. He's absolutely GORGEOUS...a tri-colored blue merle with a blue eye. He has a white, heart-shaped spot on top of his head. Someone, we believe the people we got him from, was apparently rough with him, and he is very tender-hearted. The people who moved into the house said they picked up a broom to sweep and he fell back, belly-up, and started shrieking. We've been working with him for about 2-3 months now and he's doing VERY WELL. If you're interested, let me know. I have some pics of him. If he was with you, I'd get to see him in your pics, and I could live with that...

I won`t.

Thank you very much. Now breath.

Humor:
The doctor examining a young lady, took out his stethoscope, approached & said "Big breaths".
Excited, she replied, "Yeth, thank you, and I`m only sixthteen".

Friday night and now it's complete.  Thank you, Head.  And Finn?  Gad, what a handsome lad..

BWAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

masslass (3.00 / 2)
He is a little special.
I tried & tried to freak him out today but he wouldn`t take, so it`s working perfectly.

Yesterday when Teri told me that we always get good service because I intimidate people, I told her if I don`t intimidate children, then it`s on those that feel intimidated by me, not myself.

And why would anybody feel intimidated; just because I`m a hunchback?

[ Parent ]
Nope, don't think (3.00 / 1)
it's the hunchback.. try again... I'm sure you can figure it out.

BWAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[ Parent ]
Probably ought to explain (3.00 / 1)
to the newer folks....

you don't have a hunchback.. you do, however, have the most amazing eyes!!  steel blue and either sexy or scary, depending on your mood, I'm guessing.

BWAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

scary sexy

Don't join dangerous cults: Practice safe sects.

[ Parent ]
What I said was (0.00 / 0)
sexy OR scary... but on second thought, I suppose scary sexy works too.. might have to have a poll about that, see if others here feel the same..

But, to answer your question, I suppose anything that is so sexy that it gets your panties in a bunch would be considered pretty scary... and Head?  Those are some eyes you have.

 warthogs from hell
BWAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[ Parent ]
Poll (3.00 / 2)
That might be a biased poll.
A more accurate poll would be from all the beautiful ladies I`ve loved before.
That would allow me to revisit with them the wonderful times we had.
Without breaking my arm patting myself on the back, I`ve loved so many women in my life & feel blessed that they were always the most important women in my life at that time.
The blessed part is that I always thought they felt the same way.
And I never loved more than one at a time, & never cheated.
I still run into my past & it`s never uncomfortable.
I do still think about the "what if`s" with a few but that`s life.
This is a private conversation right?

Strangely enough, today a friend was by with his family.
His daughter (a truly exceptional beauty) interrupted our conversation to say
she thought my eyes were amazing.
Teri & I have been out before & people have said that our eyes are identically unique.
I`ve gotten the same type of compliments all my life but still can`t get it.
But run a poll if you want, but there`s more to my hunchback than the eyes.
Nobody ever mentions the smile they can`t see.

[ Parent ]
My 2 cents. (3.00 / 2)
Knuck, just so you'll know, you're neither 'scary' nor 'sexy' to me.  I'll admit that you have nice eyes and are a handsome fellow.

I too suffer from the hidden smile you've mentioned, however at close range the eyes always give it away.

BTW, my wife (CB) says my beard belongs to her.  If need be, when we meet I'll explain that last bit.

Finally someone who knows.

Beautiful! (3.00 / 2)
Just Beautiful!

What a little cherub!!  I love the garden shots too, so peaceful!

Thank you for sharing!

cherub (3.00 / 2)
Actually, that shot freaks me out.
I always see the pope when I look at it.
He is not the pope. (thank god I`m an atheist)
I feel a little selfish having helped create the gardens where I shoot.
The lady who planted every single plant in the garden, (there are thousands of plants & hundreds of species) is very special.
BTW, the shots of the fish are taken in the same garden, except for the reef shots which are from my underwater paradises.
No, Thank You, for sharing nice words.

[ Parent ]
why should you feel selfish (3.00 / 1)
for helping to create a garden?  There is nothing selfish about a garden!  And sharing the pictures is a gift of self too, so I see it as most unselfish of you and an incredible gift for the rest of us! :)  I like the idea of gardening myself, but then real life gets in my way, I do try though!  LOL!  Then in the meantime, I go to Longwood Gardens when I get the chance and enjoy the magic they've created there!

As to Finn looking like the Pope, well, I don't see it!  I see a little angel with mischief in his eyes!  LOL!  My boys are past that stage, but I still see that look ever now and then! (they are 14, 12 &10)

[ Parent ]
Pa Mom (3.00 / 1)
I only meant that I`m thrilled I have a spot close by that is so well tended.
I will soon stop by the Center For Self Realization & take some shots.
I was there about 25 years ago but should return.
It`s not far from my house, (15 miles) but worlds away from what surrounds it.
Look for it soon.
As for Finn, one of the girls threw a shawl on him when I was taking pictures.
The light coming through his wisp of hair reminds me of the pope`s white skull cap.
Nice seeing you again.

what great color definition! (3.00 / 3)
I don't know what it's called in photography talk but that's what I love about these, and all your other shots. In music terms (I have to translate to understand what I'm saying!) Frank Sinatra is a great singer because, among other reasons, you can understand every single word. That's what I love about these pictures. They're so clear, both in sharpness and color, that we can see it all.

Color definition (3.00 / 4)
Shahryar,
Well I do thank you for that tune.
It`s music to my ears.
