I`ve always called them Potato Bugs, but many call them Nino Del Diablo,
Devil`s Child.
They are pretty big & frightful looking. I don`t like picking them up since I`m always afraid to hurt them.
Their abdomen is sort of "squishy".
I`ve seen them in battles with large tarantulas.

No, they are my friends` children.
They are actually two pairs of siblings 1 & 3, 2 & 4.
I will be taking some shots of my granddaughters tonight though, since We`ll be minding them for a few hours.
The children I posted are just as beautiful though.

Thanks, I just saw a kitty in the clouds & decided to "LOL" it.
I made a copy of the tree, inserted the eyes on the original, then pasted the tree back over the image to make it appear as if the eyes are in the original shot.
Tricky, eh!
