HEAD SHOTS

by: KNUCKLEHEAD

Fri Jun 25, 2010 at 22:46:10 PM EST

As I previously stated, I would only post images of underwater life from the oceans of our planet, which I`ve stolen a little of, to put in my reef tanks, till the oil gusher is stopped.
That`s the least I can do.
I feel so much for the people on the gulf coast.
I want as many people as possible to see what is being devastated below the surface, even if it aggravates their sorrow at what is being devastated above it. The only way for the gulf coasters to be "made whole" is if all the damages are brought to the light of day.
I`m sorry for all you are going through.
I hope my little bit helps.
I live on the California coast, so I know how your paradise feels to you.
I`ll start off with a shot of my coast, which I will defend as much as I`ll try & defend yours.

Nocatz, (2.00 / 2)
Thanks for the link.
I don`t know if you noticed, but in it`s early  stages, a Tunicate is very close to a human, in the Chordata classification, like spinal chorded humans.
I`ve had some large ones over the years.
The eel is a bit special, & occurs once in 200 times in nature, making them rare (read more expensive). That`s why it`s called a Reverse Goldentail.
They are usually brown with yellow flecks.
Here`s it`s business end.

Did not know that about tunicates, (2.00 / 1)
or much at all about them.  The part about them digesting their own brains led to many comparisons to (some) people as well.

That eel photo would make (2.00 / 1)
an excellent computer monitor background. May I?

Nocatz, (2.00 / 2)
Sure, but is it big enough of a file for you?

KH, do you mean (2.00 / 1)
pixels?  Or is this a joke I'm not getting?
We'll see what happens when I get back to the laptop on Tues.

Nocatz, (2.00 / 2)
no joke.
I can send you a larger file if needed.
I do sometimes wander off my humor path, into reality.

huh! (2.00 / 1)
I'm shocked to hear that, Head.  Shocked, I tell ya.

eel background is awesome!!! (2.00 / 1)

Looks like a (0.00 / 0)
snake to me... a snake with really large teeth.

The eel has perimeter teeth, then a cluster right where it counts.
I have experienced a bite once.
Snakes don`t bother me much, but I`ll try & stay away from the business end of an eel.

Snakes, eels.. (0.00 / 0)
they're all on my own personal 'watch list' (as in, watch out!!).  Although, I must admit I'm getting much better.. when I see one outside now I don't jump and run like a scared little girl.  Now I have some dignity..
